Manages, through other managers, the activities of Consulting Sales organization in support of achieving sales objectives. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle consulting services to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Networks and develops strong business relationships. Contributes to strategic and tactical planning for the division. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and makes hiring decisions. Manages budget. Manages escalations.
Strong leadership skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Industry experience. Able to develop executive level relationships. Strong Oracle product knowledge preferred. BA/BS preferred. 7-10 years direct sales experience. Experience managing staff. Willing to travel regionally. Assist in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Able to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.

The primary focus is to direct, plan, manage and develop a team of Consulting Sales Managers (CSM), Cloud.
Develop and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across a subset of Oracle Tech Cloud services directly or via partners to Oracle s Mid-Market accounts.
Manages a team of Cloud Consulting Sales Managers for a territory/region. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the region. Develops collaborative working relationships with license, support, customer success teams etc., to develop joint account plans. Develops and executes strategic plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue with guidance from the LOB leader or VP
Responsible for hiring winners, on-boarding, coaching, performance management, career development and retaining the team. Ensure teams are successful thru coaching, mentoring and sales guidance. Do periodic reviews and effectively manage the unit s success
Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction.
Conducts sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, strategy development and trend analysis.
Manage weekly booking, net new customers, sales hygiene, volume deals and growth in a programmatic approach
Focus on delivering customer experience and creating delight. Has worked with multiple set of customers - could be a combination of geographic, product, industry and market dimensions.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure the team s objectives are met.
Ability to lead sales team in all areas of the sales cycle. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution ability.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements:
Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.
Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Minimum five or more years sales or sales management experience within technology industry. Ability to hire and train new sales representatives. Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
The successful candidate must live in either Central or West Coast, USA
