Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System Dietary Aide in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. To assist in serving meals that are appetizing in appearance and on a timely basis. To prepare fruits, cold foods and beverages for breakfast meal (ex. juices, fruits, dry cereal in accordance with established portion control procedures).

Minimum Education High School or equivalent

Minimum Experience 6 months

Working Conditions Exposed to hazards of steam and heat Exposed to varying degrees of kitchen elements Subject to burns and cuts

Physical Requirements Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching Frequent prolonged standing/walking Manual dexterity and mobility Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 35 lbs)
