Hilton Conference and Events Sales Coordinator in Barcelona, Spain

AsC&E Sales Coordinator at Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona, you will support sales administration needs for hotel events team and work closely with customers to determinate their needs and build repeat and expanded business. The C&E Sales Coordinator will also work closely with the Sales function to contribute to strategy and promotional activities. Specifically, a C&E Sales Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Knowledge of the facilities, products and services of the Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona.

- Supporting the Commercial Director and the whole Business Development Department in maximizing Hotel revenues.

- Supporting the GC&E Sales Executive and GC&E Sales (Asst.) Managers in the selling, planning and executing events.

-Handling of all customer enquiries with a professional telephone manner and demonstrate high stardards of customer service.

-Planning, coordination and organisation of internal events, as well as sales of smaller external events, taking into account the hotel strategy and the direction of the GC&E Sales Manager or its representatives.

-Preparation of offers and contracts according to customer requirements.

-Administration and coordination of event/room bookings.

-Participation in professional hotel tours and meetings with clients.

-Coorect, efficient and timely communication with customers, guests and team members.

-Providing support for events.

-Timely preparation and distribution of BEO's, alterations, Daily, etc.

-Welcoming and saying goodbye to guests attending events.

-Carrying out exit interviews and drawing up a corresponding report.

-The creation of all required reports and statistics.

-Correct and complete entry of required data and activites in the specific computer systems.

-Adherence to deposit guidelines.

-Control of invoices for completeness and payment on time: adherence to all the Hilton sales guidelines and time periods for the C&E area, in particular adherence to the offer periods (max 24 hours), general consultation with the C&E Sales Manager when drawing up special prices.

-Participate in hotel promotional activities.

-Participation and support of marketing activities, like BBOB calls, Sales Blitz, etc.

-Participation in the regular communication meetings (CG&E, BD, Hotel, etc).

-Obliged to participate in (internal) trainings and yo put the learned into practice.

-Ensure a safe environment for our guests and Team Members at all times.

-Be aware of the overall responsibility for safety in our hotel and be strict with all the safety instructions, especially when operating machines and equipment.

-Behave at all times in such a way as to avoid accidents.

-Be able to raise the internal alarms correctly.

-Know what to do and how to do it, in case of an evacuation/fire alarm or other emergencies (i.e bomb threats).

What are we looking for?


-A relevant supervisory/management certificate/diploma or degree in Hospilatity.


Demonstrated previous experience working in the Conference &Events function will be a plus.


English and Spanish (not manditory). Other languages will be valued.
