IDS International Master Electricians in Baltimore, Maryland
IDS International is seeking active licensed Master Electricians to support the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) and the U.S. Department of State (DoS). The Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) directs the worldwide overseas building program for the Department of State and the U.S. Government community serving abroad under the authority of the chiefs of mission. These positions will provide Power Systems Engineering services to be done at United States Embassies and other Department of State buildings worldwide.
The Master Electrician shall be a person who possesses the necessary ability, proficiency and qualifications to execute, install, plan, layout, supervise and direct the details for installation and supervise the work of installing, repairing and maintaining specific materials and equipment utilizing a working knowledge sufficient to comply with the pertinent provisions of a governing code authority and executed in accordance with contract/statement of work, plans and specifications.
The candidate will perform short-term site visits at various locations around the world. There is a possibility for long-term work, once the site visits have been completed.
Ability to obtain a security clearance, preference to those who have an active Secret or TS
Must hold a valid Master Electrician license by any state.
Minimum of ten years? experience of which a minimum of five years of over experience in the field of inspection, troubleshooting analysis, and construction of electrical systems.
