Facebook Travel Operations Manager in Austin, Texas

Summary:

Facebook is seeking to fill a full-time position of Travel Operations Manager in our Austin, Texas office. The successful candidate will be an important part of success and will help us scale for the future. They will be expected to help report, analyze and forecast changes to the TEC program. They must be able to problem solve, recommend solutions and exercise good business judgment while performing their function.

Required Skills:

  1. Support the overall Travel, Expense, and Card (TEC) program/process by supporting operations for global expense reimbursement processes, policies and systems

  2. Act as a conduit between Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), Concur, internal Enterprise Engineering team and TEC peers to triage, manage and solve issues

  3. Develops new travel training materials around current and future products (mobile/desktop apps, hybrid AI/human supported bots, etc.) with updates going to internal supported groups, wiki reference pages and other sources of information

  4. Identifies and implements travel process improvements to be delivered by FB’s business process outsourcers

  5. Develops peer perspectives and benchmark analysis

  6. Completing quality assurance validations and identify new opportunities

  7. Assist in maintaining active and growing community support groups

  8. Delivers improvement initiatives and transformation projects

  9. Support in ensuring quality to internal and external customer experiences

  10. Assist in the research and analysis of audit issues raised by external and internal audit

  11. Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of Travel Management Consulting experience, with emphasis on reporting and data analysis

  2. BA/BS

  3. Knowledge of travel industry acumen and technology

  4. Interpersonal experience, with a track record of working with business stakeholders

  5. Knowledge of the TEC program in identifying process opportunities through day-to-day issues

  6. Change management and communication experience

  7. Experience with global management of TMC, card programs and/or expenses programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Analytical experience, including Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL
