Hands-on experience with QA methodologies
Proficiency in Java
Up-to-date with current and up-coming technologies/frameworks
Expert with web applications in Unix/Linux environment
Ability to read and critique software architecture/designs to increase testability and maintainability
Proficient with reading / writing scripts, such as bash/perl/python
Good understanding of database technologies including relational and NoSQL systems
Understanding of security concepts such as PKI is a plus
Appropriate and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment
Passionate and self-motivated
Strong attention to detail
Good time-management skills
The main responsibility for this position is to drive quality and quality related development work in all team projects. This position will work alongside the software development team to acquire in-depth knowledge of how each application works in terms of business logic, security aspects, deployment environments and the meaningful software processes involved in order to develop quality related software solutions, provide design and architecture feedback, and implement test cases/software automation.
Education & Experience
BS in Computer Science or engineering (or equivalent experience)
