Essential FunctionsOrganize and implement Advancement Academy training and education opportunities, as developed by the vice chancellor in response to UT institution requests. Serve as program and logistics coordinator for development training, ranging from small workshops to large conferences; responsibilities include gathering data from institutions, scheduling meetings, managing registration, preparing materials, and managing Academy website content. Coordinate the Summer Internship Program in Philanthropy for UT students from eight academic institutions to work at any UT institution and gain nonprofit experience in the nations third largest workforce sector; work closely with vice chancellor to create curriculum and recruit students from across all UT institutions. Work closely with Chancellors Centurions volunteer leadership (a group of young professionals who convene several times annually to learn about and promote higher education and health care initiatives) to provide program, administrative and logistical support. Serve as contact for institutions regarding UT System Master Service Agreements for easy access by all UT institutions for the recruiting of development professionals and for fundraising counsel.
