Facebook is seeking a Leave of Absence Specialist to provide operational support for the company’s Time Away programs. The person in this role will also ensure a high touch employee experience. The ideal candidate will have strong initiative who has the ability to think critically, willingness to collaborate with our cross functional partners and be able to prioritize while maintaining a high-level of confidentiality in an extremely fast-paced environment. The person in this role will partner closely with our Benefits Strategy, Legal, People Operations, HRBP/ERBP and Accommodations Teams.
Represent Benefits team as a subject matter expert in Time Away and Workers Compensations programs
Manage day-to-day support for Time Away programs including Absence Management, Workers’ Compensation and Leave Programs, Escalations and Employee Experience
Partner with internal HR/ER and Legal stakeholder inquiries around the leave processes, polices and escalations
Identify and implement new processes as required by other teams or as/needs are defined for process improvement
Participate in internal investigations related to Leave of Absence and Workers Compensation claims
Assist with human resource and benefit compliance-related projects
Drive process and system improvements
Perform end-to-end case management of inquires through our internal case management tool
Respond to employee and internal partner inquiries within defined SLAs leveraging CRM ticketing system for tracking and measurement
Partner with content team for updates to program on HR portal
Monitor and respond to Facebook group inquiries
6+ years experience in benefits and/or HR operations with focus on Leave of Absence administration
Analytical and problem-solving experience
Project management and process improvement experience
Experience working independently with minimum supervision
Experience working with sensitive leave of absence cases
Experience using PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.
Experience in leave administration working directly with front line managers, employee’s and key stakeholders
Experience with vendor management
Experience in high tech environment
Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
