JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following sets forth the primary responsibilities of this job, but is not an exhaustive list. The Bank, through its managers and supervisors, reserves the right to assign any additional duties necessary to meet the needs of our clients, associates and/or shareholders. 1. Prospect new banking clients and coordinate calling efforts with team members. 2. Ensure the overall success and growth of an assigned portfolio by deepening relationships of existing customers and through the acquisition of new customers. 3. Cross-sell lending, depository and Treasury Management products to new and existing bank clients. 4. Review the clients credit needs and design solutions. Negotiate credit terms, loan repayment methods and collateral specifications with the client. 5. Manage the existing portfolio of clients and monitor the client relationship for compliance with credit standards, as well as updating financials, maintaining insurance on bank collateral and reviewing loans for accurate grades. 6. Handle relationships up to 2 million in credit exposure and up to $25,000 fee income. 7. Provide financial advice and counsel to clients and prospective clients regarding trends and conditions of the business environment and general banking trends. 8. Participate in community and business functions/groups to ensure a positive image for the bank. Establish referral contacts within the community. 9. Review loan documents to ensure that they are in accordance with the Loan Committee and with banking laws and regulations. Close loans on a timely basis. 10. Identify renewals and extensions of loans. Keep the customer informed and counsels customers on their financial needs. 11. Maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations, including laws, rules and regulations dealing with safety and soundness, consumer protection and privacy and non-discrimination. 12. Attend and complete related assigned compliance training. 13. Maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements. 14. Interact with others (co-workers, management, clients, and vendors) in a professional and tactful manner including treating them with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. EDUCATIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND/OR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Required: This position requires the following educational and/or job experience: • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field or combination of education and work experience. • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience • Good managerial, communication and sales skills

Preferred: • MBA • 6 years of Commercial Banking experience SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The following is intended to give an overview of the requirements of the position, but is not an exhaustive list. • Strong business development skills as well as an overall understanding of credit and business finance. • Strong networking skills and participation in networking events in the market area • Competent in the operation of standard office equipment including computer, fax, ten (10) key calculator and phone. • Competent in the use of standard office software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. • Solid knowledge of banking policies, regulations and compliance issues. • Solid ability to analyze financial statements. • Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles. • Must possess a valid driver’s license. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build peer and/or team cohesiveness to deliver the full complement of bank products and services • Self-directed and motivated to accomplish tasks, meet objectives and committed timelines. • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate issues.
