The school is seeking applicants for a part-time (60% total time), 12-month, non-tenure clinical/teaching track faculty position at the level of Instructor or Senior Instructor with training and experience in the areas of Ambulatory Care and Population Health, with specific area of focus in Primary Care.

This faculty member will practice as a member of multidisciplinary teams in the Women’s Integrated Services in Health (WISH) clinic (30% time) and the Anschutz Medical Campus (AMC) Internal Medicine clinic (30% time); both of these clinics are part of University of Colorado Health (UCHealth). Both clinics are located in the Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion on the University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO. The primary responsibility of this position is providing innovative patient care. This faculty member will interface with interdisciplinary primary care teams to provide comprehensive medication management for patients who are part of the Medicare Shared Savings Program and other value-based care programs. Comprehensive medication management efforts will be focused on achieving the Quadruple AIM of improving healthcare quality, reducing healthcare cost, and improving experience for both patients and the healthcare team. In addition, successful candidates for this position will have opportunities to precept and mentor students within the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum, precept pharmacy residents, and engage in scholarship in support of their clinical efforts.

Applicants must have a Pharm.D. degree, advanced training through a PGY1 residency, previous clinical experience, and must be licensed to practice pharmacy in Colorado. Applicants with PGY2 residency training and board certification in an area appropriate for their training and experience (BCPS or BCACP) are preferred. Faculty salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
