The Department of Radiology/Division of Interventional Radiology is seeking applicants for a full-time Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner position, in theInterventional Radiology and Radiology Departments at the Highlands Ranch Hospital location under the supervision of the Division Chief of Interventional Radiology.
Job Responsibilities: Clinical duties involve the provision of outpatient and inpatient clinical service support for Interventional Radiology, including both procedural and clinical activities. The individual will be trained by the IR physicians in image guided minor procedures including central venous access, thoracenteses, paracenteses, chest tube placement, as well as other minor procedures such as performing diagnostic fluoroscopic studies. The job will also include clinical duties in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, including pre-operative H&P, informed consent, patient preparation for procedures, family and patient education, admission and discharge from the hospital, and coordination of longitudinal care of IR patients.
