ANP/NP to provide primary care services in an Internal Medicine clinical setting within an academic multispecialty group practice associated with the University of Colorado Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine, University of Colorado School of Medicine.
NP will provide comprehensive primary care in the CU Denver Internal Medicine Group Clinic. Candidate must have experience and training in caring for adults with chronic illness – such as diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, asthma, and depression. NP should also have experience and training in providing preventative health care services to men and women.
Candidate should have a working knowledge of billing for health care services in an ambulatory care setting. NP will work closely with faculty physicians and clinic staff.
NP will regularly participate in practice improvement and quality improvement activities.
NP will have the opportunity to precept for residents and students in the outpatient clinical setting. In addition, there will be the opportunity to attend in the general medicine inpatient service as interests and attending schedule availability permits. You will be eligible to attend in the Internal Medicine Resident Clinic, contingent on available attending slots.
