In order to provide a quality medical clinic experience the Front Desk Team Lead is the point person for front desk operational procedures and processes and assigns and disseminates work to front office personnel. The FDTL ensures each patient is provided with first-rate Customer Service, and an overall quality medical experience in terms of service, accuracy, and patient relations, instilling patient and staff confidence.

Education or Formal Training:

· High school diploma or GED required


· One year internal experience, working front desk, at MCPN or manager discretion

· No PIPs or Written Warnings within the past 6 months of promotion date

· Fully competent in Front Desk Registration and Insurance

· No more than 15 registration errors, within a 3 month time period

· Works well with Providers, Mas and other FD staff

· Excellent customer service skills

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus

· Ability to lead effectively, and with positive results.

· Understanding and working knowledge of all Front Desk and Medical Records processes.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Ability to work under stress.

· Awareness to grasp and implement new processes and information.

· Understand basic medical terminology.

· Ability to lead effectively, and with positive results.
