Position : SharePoint Developer, Junior Level FAA

Location : Atlantic City, NJ

ASRC Federal Technical Services (ASTS) has an immediate position open for a SharePoint Developer (junior level) that has a degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

  • Develop customer web applications including integration with SQL Server and Oracle database

  • Design and develop SharePoint solutions including applications, web parts, features, content types and other SharePoint constructs using MS Visual Studio for deployment on SharePoint Server 2013 and 2016

  • Design, develop, implement, and enhance web-enabled applications using JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, jQuery, HTML 5, etc.

  • work with customers at all levels of technical ability to assist with requirements, customization and definition of SharePoint sites

  • Customize COTS solutions to meet government customer needs and requirements

  • Assist with SharePoint administration, future enhancements, service packs/updates and upgrades and best practices for maintaining the environments

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical degree that includes 30 semester hours of a combination of computer science, mathematics and statistics and three (3) years of related experience OR a Master's degree in a technical field and one (1) year of experience

  • Coursework and/or an internship or work experience with SharePoint development or administration

  • Experience with InfoPath form design and XML as well as knowledge of SharePoint Designer for building customized templates, lists and workflows

  • Microsoft SQL Server database development experience

  • Experience with HTML5/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or SQL

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies to document, test and support activities associated with SharePoint 2013/2016

  • Ability to pass an FAA background investigation which requires US Citizenship/Permanent Residency
