JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs functions of either a Poker Dealer or Poker Floor Supervisor on an assigned shift

Responsible for dealing an assigned game in accordance with established policy and procedure

Works diligently to support the Borgata & MGM culture and team philosophy throughout the property

Conducts the assigned game with respect to Casino Control Commission regulations and procedures

Responsible for customer satisfaction and enjoyment on a particular assigned table game

Offering the highest possible level of Customer Service

Responsible for dealing a specific table game as assigned

Promotes positive public relations and creates an enjoyable atmosphere for all customers

Maintains confidentiality of all Borgata trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information

Amicably resolve customer related problems in a fast paced environment

Maintaining a high level of professionalism with casino guests and co-workers

Acts as a role model to all employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Borgata and encourages others to do the same

Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount"

Ensures the protection of customer’s rewards and credit lines

Complies with all departmental and Company Policies including Borgata’s business ethics guidelines

Complies with all New Jersey regulatory requirements

Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment

Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a certificate of completion from an accredited New Jersey Gaming School or equivalent

Must possess excellent customer service and talent relation skills

The ability to effectively communicate in English
