This position will lead a team of supply and deployment planners in optimizing production plans to support customer demand and minimizing costs across our manufacturing plants while maintaining world class customer service. The Supply Manager is a key member of a broader team responsible for managing inventory, service metrics, attainment, schedule adherence, and distribution costs. The role requires interface with demand planning, brand/category teams, manufacturing, transportation, and warehousing/fulfillment.If you are a strong multi-tasker, you embrace change and work well in a fast-paced team environment; we are interested in learning more about you!A Day In The Life Typically Includes:Provide strategic direction to support the development of 13 week and 18-month production plansDevelop and maintain relationships with manufacturing, marketing, sales, and production facilities to ensure alignment on organization vision and discuss challenges impacting operationsMaximize value of short and long-term supply plans. Coordinate multiple viewpoints to align on strategic strategy impacting daily operationsCommunicate supply plans across a broad level of the cross-functional organization,Review key metrics to drive continuous improvement pertaining to rate attainment, schedule adherence, inventory levels, T&D costs, and case fill rateMaintain a strong sense of urgency, organizational accountability and customer focusWhat You Will Need:Basic Qualifications:Bachelors Degreeor higher in a Business fieldA minimumof four (4) years working in supply chainORin an operations, management, or engineering position within a manufacturing environmentPrevious experience using SAP, JDA and other supply chain technology toolsExperience with Microsoft Office Excel(creating and modifying spreadsheets and using functions, filters and graphs to analyze data)What Will Put You Ahead?Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors Degree with a concentration in Industrial Management, Logistics,or Supply ChainExperience with direct reportsExperience using TableauWant to learn more aboutGeorgia-Pacific?Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.We are an equal opportunity employer.
