Emory University Senior Business Manager - Cash Application in Atlanta, Georgia
Emory University's Central Finance Division is seeking a Sr. Business Manager for Cash Application with related experience.
JOB DUTIES AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Actively lead efforts in the achievement of departmental goals and objectives related to Cash Application for Grant Funding.
Surpervise, coach, and develop direct reports.
Manage the daily cash application process to include the timely and accruate posting of cash.
Provide great customer service.
Exhibit excellent and professional communication skills.
Additional duties as assigned.
Previous supervisory and cash application experience are preferred.
Peoplesoft experience is also preferred.
FORMAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develops, administers and monitors budgets, accounts, policies and procedures relating to operational activities in the areas of human resources, finance, facilities management and research for a department, division or school.
Ensures that awarded grants conform to defined budget parameters and projects budget needs to accommodate future grant funding increases, changes and awards.
Ensures the preparation of operational and statistical reports for management and regulatory agencies.
Will supervise staff and perform related responsibilities as required.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field and
5 years of professional business or management experience or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. Some previous supervisory experience required.
