Learn more at or connect with us on,, or This OpportunityThe Product Manager III is responsible for developing & managing the development, pipeline, and evolution of the VanillaDirect product suite, a cash-in network of partners and retailers utilizing a token (typically a barcode or an encoded magnetic strip) to direct cash, collected at retail, to an underlying account. The Product Manager III will be expected to write requirements, determine priorities, manage release schedules, monitor competitive offerings in order to develop and maintain a best-in-class product, and identify areas to innovate in order to remain a viable and relevant service offering.Responsibilities* Identify areas of optimization and innovation for the VanillaDirect suite of products.* Develop a near term and long term pipeline and backlog for product development that will support overall strategic objectives and drive growth.* Manage the pipeline and backlog to deliver results as outlined and agreed upon.* Proactively work with product team, sales team, account management, marketing, finance and accounting, and others to identify market needs and opportunities & develop a plan to meet them.* Identify and execute areas of opportunity to achieve operational efficiencies and enhance speed to market.* Responsible for overseeing platform enhancements and organizing corresponding sprints with technical resources.* Responsible for evaluating and vetting potential upgrades and exploring various options, internally and externally, to develop practical solutions.* Tasked with organizing weekly touch base calls to keep all applicable stakeholders informed of ongoing projects.* Facilitating technical calls and meetings to onboard partners and to support product and sales teams.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree from accredited university, or equivalent in professional experience* Minimum 5 years of product management/project management experience, preferably from within the fintech industry* Experience in managing technical relationships* Experience in managing a network of internal/external relationships with various stakeholders* Experience in product operations, documenting flows for various use cases based on customer needs and integration methods* Experience in managing software development projects written in Ruby on Rails and Go.* Experience supporting the end-to-end implementation of payment systems at scale.* Practical knowledge of AWS ecosystem.
