JOB ID - 19682About this OpportunityAs a Material Planning Agent 2 working at Geiger, you'll be responsible for the planning, delivery, quality, and inventory investments of all raw material and purchased products to support manufacturing needs and customer on-time shipments relative to suppliers.What You'll DoYou'll have opportunities to speak up, solve problems, lead others, and be an owner every day as you...Travel to suppliers when required.Ensure raw material flow to manufacturing areas by coordinating and communicating with suppliers, Inventory Control, Production, Engineering, etc.Communicate with Accounting, Purchasing, and Finance to resolve pricing, transportation, set-up charges, or other supplier-related invoicing issues.Develop and control inventory strategies and investments to support manufacturing needs while ensuring the best possible utilization of inventory space and dollars, as well as inventory accuracy.Support the development and implementation of new strategies relative to materials management processes.Work with and support Supplier Development by providing updates and information to Supplier Development Managers and Supplier Commodity Managers.Work with New Product Engineers and New Product Development to represent material strategies, manufacturing needs, and supplier development in new product development and implementation.Work with Quality Engineers to resolve quality-related issues as needed.
