The candidate will support Client Cargo Sales with the implementation of revenue tactics to maximize Domestic mail revenue while exceeding customer's performance targets. The individual will work closely with Postal Affairs Team and Client Cargo Revenue Management to guarantee optimal levels between mail and freight are attained, and reliable capacity forecasts are produced. The candidate will also work closely with Operation groups to ensure operational constraints are taken into account for operational reliability. This job requires a strong analytical individual able to manage multiple assignments with aggressive deadlines. The role also includes the enhancement of existing tools and processes to achieve high level of quality of work, and creates a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety & well-being. This position will report to Gerardo Acosta, Manager Sales Development/Mail Support. The position will be domiciled in Atlanta. Bachelor''s degree in business, operations management or engineering, MBA or MS in a quantitative discipline preferred. Must have minimum of four years of analytical work experience. Proven track record of problem solving skills and ability to use analytical tools. Candidate must have superior technical, quantitative/analytical, organizational skills, and must have a high competency level with Microsoft Excel, Access any other datamining and reporting tools. Must demonstrate the ability to influence internal and external organizations to achieve corporate goals, including the ability to influence and manage upward as necessary. Candidate must have the ability to develop, implement and review revenue initiatives from beginning to end. Knowledge of air logistics operating systems and/or Web Vision preferred. Prior postal planning or offer creation experience with strong understanding of Client''s domestic and international network highly desirable. Must be highly proficient in written and oral communications and be able to produce concise, relevant, and strategically driven documents to present to leaders. Must have an ability to manage and execute multiple priorities in a timely manner.Responsibilities: Work closely with key Cargo stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven decision making and well-coordinated revenue tactics. Develop and maintain reports to ensure implemented tactics are successfully achieved. Review and analyze capacity forecast variances for the purpose of adjusting or creating more accurate forecast models. Must be comfortable working with a large amount of data and able to leverage Web Vision, Cognos, Hyperion, among other reports to optimize available supply to meet demand requirements.
