Our Mission.'DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: This position provides support for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Center for State, Tribal, Local and Territorial Support (CSTLTS) in the Public Health Associate Program (PHAP) located in Atlanta, Georgia. The PHAP program has responsibility for supporting internal and external stakeholder engagement activities as well as identifying public health priorities and emerging needs in research, education, and service. These priorities are translated and incorporated into the PHAP curriculum for associates. The PHAP Partnerships and Education Team then provides training and professional development opportunities to associates while they are enrolled in the program. The Data Analyst will be responsible to collect, report, analyze and interpret data and recognize trends to assist the PHAP program to improve the quality of the support, repositories, and trainings to stakeholders.PRIMARY DUTIES:Proficient use of SAS to conduct analysis of different data from multiple sources.Review identify and correct data inaccuracies in SASGenerate data reports from SAS SystemFacilitates satisfactory communication and resolution of problems to branch operationsWork closely with branch operations to provide needed data, support, and troubleshootingIdentify and provide continuous quality improvement strategies for program activities based upon data analysisDocument procedures/processes for data analysisAbility to work in an agile work environmentExcellent verbal/written communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational skills; attention to detailAbility to manage conflicting priorities and work in a team environmentPosition RequirementsRELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 5 years of relevant experienceEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
