Emory University Assistant/Associate Professor Otolaryngology - Sleep Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia
Emory University’s Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery seeks a full-time fellowship trained Otolaryngologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor specializing in Sleep Surgery. The candidate will have primary duties at Emory University Midtown Hospital. The highly motivated team has long been actively involved in academic, research, and professional endeavors at the national and international levels. Opportunities abound to teach medical students, residents and fellows, and participate in scholarly activities. Duties will include patient care, resident and fellow teaching, and academic productivity. Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible and will have a University appointment.
The position comprises a clinical appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology at a level commensurate with credentials and experience, as well as an academic appointment in the Emory University School of Medicine. The position will work in conjunction with the Emory Sleep Center. The job provides a competitive 12-month salary with excellent benefits.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
Sleep Medicine fellowship
Strong research and publication history, experience in clinical and research mentorship, a national reputation among colleagues within the otolaryngology community, and an interest in a leadership role developing a clinical sleep program
Eligibility for a valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia
A controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate
