Oracle Product Manager/Strategy 5-ProdDev in Ashburn, Virginia
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

As a product manager for the Oracle CX Cloud, you will lead various teams for each pillar (Marketing, Sales, Service, Commerce, CPQ and Social) in the Oracle CX Cloud by acting a central resource and driving force for the product development lifecycle as they move from conception to distribution. You will also be responsible for organizing interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule. You will work with various product managers, developers and other internal Oracle team members to develop, manage and track roadmap delivery across all the pillars of the Oracle CX Cloud.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture.
In this role you'll also have the opportunity to work with Oracle's leading CX suite product teams to provide clear positioning and differentiation from competitors.
Key Job Requirements include:
Define roadmap and key requirements to support cross-pillar CX customers
Identify and Articulate Platform Solution Requirements across CX to support cross-cloud requirements
Work with industry Product Management and Marketing teams within Oracle
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Must have experience crafting and evangelizing product messages, developing creative product marketing content and comfortable presenting to customers and in front of large audiences at conferences
CRM and/or Customer Experience Solutions, product and domain knowledge and marketing experience are essential.
Skills & Qualities
Experience in onPremise and SaaS solutions and experience working for one of the following types of vendors is preferred: SAP, Microsoft, SFDC, CRMOD & Oracle CX Applications
8 years of enterprise software experience and at least 5 years experience in Product Management, Software Consulting, Business Analyst, or similar role
Experience converting customer feedback and core needs into a functional design
Logical, analytical, innovative, conceptual thinker
Ability to develop and present business cases to peers and senior management
Good writing and presentation skills- prior experience in writing design documents, application specifications will be helpful
Good team player and collaborator, especially in virtual teaming environments
Ability to influence others
Self-Starter able to deliver high output with great quality
Education: BA/BS degree, MBA preferred, or Related Work Experience
