Oracle A/R eCommerce Project Manager in Ashburn, Virginia

Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.

Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically 5 years of project management, product design or related experience needed.

Thisrole is for a Project Manager in the Order to Cash (O2C) Global Process Owner(GPO) organization. The GPO team provides strategic direction, projectleadership and process design for O2C functions.

Theprimary responsibilities of this role are global project management andoperational process support of Order to Cash functions at Oracle. The candidatewill apply international business experience while leading and managingprojects in compliance with local statutory regulations, as well as Oraclepolicies. Solutions are developed in partnership with internal andexternal resources working across multiple ecommerce platforms and strategies.

Thiscandidate will execute according to schedule, identify roadblocks and updatestakeholders as appropriate. They will provide strong cross-functional teamleadership, pre and post-implementation support, change management across organizations,detailed documentation, and process improvement through project stabilization. Theperson in this role will also be called upon as a GPO eInvoicing content expertto support additional A/R initiatives, system testing, operational guidance andother projects as needed. They will coordinate activities amongcross-functional and cross-border teams, including third parties and customerresources. They will identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.They will also be responsible for creating, maintaining and archiving detailedproject documentation and decision history.

Theideal candidate has an eCommerce or technical background in Procurement,Payables or Receivables. They have prior experience with variouselectronic languages and protocols. They are a strong team leader with a proventrack record in managing global virtual teams. They understand the Quote-to-Cashlifecycle, have experience in international business and an understanding ofgenerally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The ideal candidatealso has experience with Oracle Financials and/or Oracle eBusiness Suite.

Othercore competencies include strong problem solving and analytical skills with a veryhigh degree of attention to detail. The candidate must have strongwritten, oral and interpersonal communication skills. They have demonstratedsuccess in project management with the ability to prioritize workloads whilemanaging multiple global projects simultaneously.
