We are seeking experienced Sr. Administrative Analyst to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD), Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S). The candidate will provide expert level administrative and analytical support for senior executives and must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications. The candidate should have general knowledge and experience in office management. It is also essential that the candidate have the ability to independently set-up organizational meetings, develop and track correspondence, and gathering background information to support senior officials' attendance at decision meetings.
Formulate and refine standard operating procedures, processes, and work products/templates based on subject matter expertise and independent assessments. Tasks will require solid judgement, discretion, a thorough knowledge of the business operations.
Prepare formal, official program correspondence based on government input and direction, using independent thought to formulate a final product, as well as manage other incoming correspondence ensuring proper dissemination, editing, tracking, and processing via the organization correspondence management system.
Plan, prepare, and process travel authorizations and vouchers. Must understand the customer’s travel preferences and be able to execute identified travel with little to no interaction and provide comprehensive travel packages for each trip.
Serve as primary point of contact and liaison with senior DoD leadership in formulating policies and operating practices, interpreting DoD Directives, Instructions, Publications & Manuals, and providing expert recommendations to the Military Assistants (MA), Senior Executive Service (SES) members, Flag/General Officers, and their staffs.
Create tools such as Excel spreadsheets and other databases to compile, track, summarize, and report the status of various documents and projects.
Ensure conformance with established guidelines; provide timely feedback and status upon request.
Perform special projects on own initiative or as assigned.
Provide input to and communicate with various MAs, Protocol, Pentagon Force Protection Agency, and subordinate organization personnel to guide and direct daily operations and provide inputs into strategic plans.
Provide liaison with the Secretary of Defense/Deputy Secretary of Defense, OSD Protocol, Pentagon Force Protection Agency, subordinate offices, other DoD agencies, and industry and academic institutions to ensure ongoing, effective business operations.
Manage and maintain executive calendars and schedules for client exercising full discretion to resolve conflicting priorities and orchestrate changes needed. Critical elements for each meeting include ensuring the appropriate individuals are invited, read-ahead materials are developed or provided, necessary clearances are passed and verified, and conference rooms are scheduled.
Coordinate office administrative and management functions including office security administration, office space management, processing security clearance and visit requests client and visitors, scheduling office events and ordering supplies.

Bachelor’s Degree or four (4) years of general experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience performing research and analysis
Superior oral and written skills
Must be highly proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to use DoD travel, correspondence, workflow and other administrative tools
DoD Secret clearance
Experience with OUSD(A&S)
Familiarity with DoD organizations and missions
Proficient with the Defense Travel System (DTS)
Experience using Correspondence Action Tracking Management System (CATMS)
