Phia Operations Policy Planner and Communications Analyst in Arlington, Virginia

OVERVIEW: phia LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Operations Policy Planner and Communications Analyst to join

our team of qualified, diverse individuals to support Department of Homeland Security. Candidate will support the Communications/Publications team with international stakeholder communications & engagement.

DUTIES:

  • Facilitate operational planning that aligns with policy and coordinate internal processes and procedures,

  • Support communication/engagements with internal/external NCCIC stakeholders.

  • Effectively communicates to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrates an understanding of enterprise-wide application of cyber policy and operations.

  • Maintains awareness of and reports significant cyber-related policy issues affecting the NCCIC

Requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years’ experience

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

  • Leadership & people management

  • Strong written & oral communications skills

  • Creative problem solving

  • Familiarity with Program and Project Management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 9+ years of relevant experience.

  • Cyber related certifications (CISSP, CompTIA Security +, etc.)

  • Familiarity with the DHS or NCCIC environment

  • DHS suitability or EOD

WORK SCHEDULE: 1st Shift

TRAVEL: 10%

TELEWORK ELIGIBILITY: N/A

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Active Top Secret/SSBI; eligible for SCI and DHS EOD
