As eCommerce capabilities continue their rapid expansion in major grocery retailers, consumers are buying their groceries both in-store and online, and utilizing new ways to find products. This newly-formed role will accelerate NUSA strategic knowledge in eBusiness, advance best practices, increase effectiveness of investments across brick/mortar and online, and activating new strategies to deploy resources for higher business impact. The Manager, eBusiness Strategy will work cross functionally to accelerate NUSA strategic knowledge of Omni-customers, increasing effectiveness of investments across brick/mortar and online, and activating new strategies to deploy resources for higher business impact.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (% of time):
Planning and Measurement (80%)
Identify and activate best practices to win in Omni planning, enabling seamless consumer experiences across online and offline
Lead the identification and articulation of new ways of working as consumers shift behaviors
Increase effectiveness and efficiencies of our brands’ investments in Paid Search
Integrate Omni mindset and practices into current planning processes, by enabling key stakeholders
Collaborate across key stakeholders, especially (but not limited to) sales, key account managers, shopper marketing, NUSA Search Lead, finance, analytics and media
Create and update trackers for KPIs of success-- track progress across enterprise, category and brand levels and communicate findings, conclusions and recommendations to stakeholders
Solicit feedback from stakeholders and integrate into plans and reports,ensuring collaboration is deliberate and well-aligned
Report regularly on trends in eRetailer Search and Omni, including our competitors
Develop agenda and content for Nestle USA Omni 101 and 201
Drive fluency in Omni planning and execution across teams and stakeholders
build and deliver engaging education curriculum for eSearch
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Bachelors degree required
Excellent/Advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint
3-5 years of proven success in marketing, shopper marketing, and/or field sales, with demonstration of yielding higher ROI through planning strategies. Specific experience in Omni channel marketers preferred (Walmart, Kroger, etc.).
Proven Experience building and enacting successful business strategies across multiple stakeholders
Demonstrated history of being a self-starter, building projects from the bottom-up to completion: shaping and articulating visions, turning visions into tangible action plans, and action plans into finished projects.
History of driving business performance through measurement
Collaboration: Engages and motivates others by addressing their needs and inspires others to act in favor of mutual goals
Insight: ability to connect the dots from multiple data sources to craft a cohesive and compelling story/business case; ability to dig beneath the numbers and identify underlying themes, issues and opportunities
Initiative: demonstrate ability to provide value added analytical work based on own understanding of business needs/impactors vs just providing what is asked for. Strong sense of prioritisation and properly manages communication on deliveries with relevant stakeholders
Communication: demonstrates confidence; able to make clear and concise presentations/recommendations to all levels of organization
