Job Description:

GDIT is seeking talented and motivated information technology (IT) professionals to support the Army National Guard's (ARNG's) National Capital Region Director of Information Management (NCR DOIM). The NCR DOIM is responsible for the operation, maintenance, modernization, expansion, and further evolution of the IT services and infrastructure that support over 3,000 end users at the ARNG headquarters in Arlington, VA as well as other locations in the National Capital Region (NCR). This includes supporting the ARNG NCR Campus Area Network (CAN), Local Area Network (LAN), server and storage infrastructure, end user devices to include virtual desktop infrastructure, and audio/visual equipment. Major support requirements include network administration, service desk, network and IT engineering, audio and video services to include telephony, telecommunications management, asset management, equipment maintenance and disposition, cybersecurity, and Continuity of Operations (COOP).

The NCR DOIM uses ITIL best practices as a framework for a mature IT Service Management model.

This position resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems. Diagnoses, identifies, isolates, and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. May route calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: DoD SECRET clearance, DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level I Information Assurance Certification such as CompTIA A+, 4 years of Help Desk / Tier 1 support experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: DoD TOP SECRET Clearance, ITIL Foundation Certification
