POSITION SUMMARY:

The EBusiness Analyst is a newly-created role, responsible for launching new standardized reporting to assess effectiveness and efficiencies of brands’ marketing investments in eCommerce. This includes KPI development, analysis and recommendations pertaining to multiple areas of eBusiness: Media, Merch, Search & their connections to sales, market share, assortment, content, ratings/reviews) with particular focus on tier 1 e-retailers and Tier 1 brands, at NUSA and Division-Levels. This role works closely and seamlessly across eBusiness team, Analytics Team, NUSA Division via eBusiness Champions and others.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and update trackers for KPIs –using combination of resources like Business Objects, e-retailer data portals, third party/vendor supplied data, Nielsen type data, Stackline, Clavis, etc. -- and communicate findings, conclusions, insights and recommendations to stakeholders

  • Envisage, beta and launch monthly reports to multiple stakeholders including eBusiness team (NUSA-level), Sales Organization, Executive-level, eBusiness Champions (Division-level). including KPI performance (the ‘what’) and recommendations (the ‘so-what)

  • Perform post program analysis for key events on tier 1 e-retailers and present learnings and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis/presentations/research as required by business (e.g. assortment recommendations by market; competitive benchmarking, MOR decks)

  • Deliver quarterly and annual performance assessments to identify trends, competitive activity and themes within key categories

  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders and revise reports as needed

  • Collaborate across other analysts, eKAMs, Analytics and strategy teams

  • Collaborate with eKAMs, Analytics and CMI teams to measure new and upcoming marketing capabilities

  • Lead structure and assessment of key learning projects, in collaboration with their key stakeholders, to drive annual learning agenda and gain marketplace insights, e.g. assessing lifetime value of an eCommerce consumer.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Bachelors degree required

  • must Possess Highly Advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3 years proven experience in conducting quantitative analysis of business data, specific experience in analyzing promotional programs using multiple evaluation criteria and laddering findings from individual program analysis into bigger picture insights and recommendations to improve business performance and strategies.

  • Experience in creating, designing and maintaining action oriented business scorecards, often using disparate sources of data, and leveraging them to identify and articulate next-step actions from other team members

  • Experience in data-storytelling: synthesizing complicated data into fact-based, concise, and compelling business cases/presentations across multiple levels in organization, from associate-to-VP/Director.
