At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Work within federal Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process, or with federal budget data (labor hour, staffing, and funding) analysis and briefing creation Work with stakeholders to understand their business needs and create reports and visualizations based on known or anticipated business needs Obtains, merges, reshapes, cleans, and evaluates the quality of datasets Create new dashboards and reports that synthesize data from multiple sources Research, analyze, and consolidate large amounts of information into consumable formats (briefings/graphics/reports) Develop concise and accurate data analyses and, clearly communicate findings/ conclusions/ interpretations Prepare written documentation (e.g., technical reports, memoranda, SOPs, and presentations) describing the data and analytical techniques used, results produced and associated insights and recommendations Comfortable working with and presenting to senior leadership, managers, budget staff and external stakeholders Meet tight deadlines and work with minimal supervision Performs other related duties as assigned Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Experience creating Tableau dashboards required. Experience with the following tools: Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint. Data & Information Visualization experience required. Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field. Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees. U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required. Travel may be required. Ability to work overtime required on occasion. Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements. Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
