Current Operations IT Systems Analyst

Key Role:

Support the Army current operation’s technical and liaison services. Serve as a liaison officer for Cybersecurity and IT issues in the Pacific Theatre. Leverage knowledge of secure operating systems, networks, and database services and products. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for IT and Cybersecurity issues and challenges. Handle a wide range of security issues, including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access at all levels of total system product, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations to promote economy, efficiency, and client or product requirements into total systems solutions and provide architectural analysis and relate existing system to future needs and trends. This position is located full time on the client site in Washington, DC.

Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience in the Army operations or IT or systems engineering fields

-Knowledge of DoD or Army operations plans, policies, and procedures

-Active TS/SCI clearance required

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience with supporting Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA)

-Experience with providing Cybersecurity, systems engineering, or IT management analysis for DoD challenges

-Experience with Pacific Theater operations

-Experience as an Army Signal Officer

-Ability to work flexible hours to adjust to Pacific Theater operations

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in IT, Communications, or Systems Engineering fields preferred; MA or MS degree in IT, Communications, or Systems Engineering fields a plus
