Nestle Contract Recruiter in Arlington, Virginia

Nestlé USA is looking for a dynamic Contract Recruiter (onsite: Solon, OH or Arlington, VA) to ensure that recruiting programs are aligned with business priorities to hire world-class talent and build a robust talent pipeline. You’ll develop strong relationships with business leaders, HR partners and the recruiting team to drive the talent sourcing strategy and act as a talent advisor to the business in talent selection best practices.


  • Recruiting Service Delivery

  • Oversee end to end recruitment process with a key focus on client management

  • Guide Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners through recruiting and talent selection

  • Lead strategic recruitment meetings with hiring managers and their teams to identify the hiring need, define the right profile, and identify the recruitment strategy

  • Identify key behavioral and technical competencies that drive success, share recruitment sourcing strategy, and set expectations around process and timeline

  • Partner with Recruiting Talent Sourcers to establish talent pipeline and to ensure understanding of job and availability of the profile

  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation

  • Conduct behavioral interviews using behavioral-based competency talent selection methods

  • Act as on-going candidate relationship manager by providing value-added recruiting related advice to hiring managers and influence talent decisions

  • Extend and negotiate offers of employment to selected candidates

  • Manage requisitions in accordance to the Nestlé Compliance process

  • Recruiting Strategy and Planning

  • Partner with functional leadership and HR teams to set and implement a Talent Acquisition strategy and talent sourcing programs to meet business and operational needs

  • Participate as a key member of the HR leadership team and develop strong relationships across the organization

  • Act as an advisor to management regarding external market trends and internal metrics

  • Partner with the Talent Sourcing group to create and implement comprehensive sourcing plans

  • Partner with cross-disciplinary teams to develop companywide hiring plans that includes volume, skills sets and geography


  • Min 3 years of experience in corporate recruiting, talent sourcing and talent selection

  • Bachelor Degree in business, marketing, human resources or related field highly preferred

  • Recruiting experience in a large national or global corporation highly preferred

  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent required


  • An expert level of knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to talent sourcing, assessing, applicant tracking, closing offer processes and relationship management

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct competency-based recruitment

  • Ability to apply a consultancy approach, effectively managing expectations of stakeholders and clients

  • Ability to launch and sustain talent pipelining programs through capturing key sourcing intelligence, effectively converting passive candidates and utilizing diverse sourcing channels

  • Demonstrated ability to use e-recruitment and web technologies to support Talent Selection including, but not limited to applicant tracking systems, social and digital media

  • Ability to apply business knowledge into practical solutions based on business strategy or organizational changes

  • Excellent project management, writing, and verbal communication skills are required

  • Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect of leaders

  • Ability to influence and negotiate with business leaders and HR partners

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

  • Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes and procedures
