Responsibilities

The Experienced Associate will work to identify fraud, waste, and abuse through conducting compliance audits/reviews of Government purchase card transactions. The client is located in Bethesda, MD.

The Experienced Associate will perform the below duties:

  • Select transactions for review utilizing established tools to identify high risk transactions

  • Notify cardholders of selection for review

  • Assist in conducting the reviews using auditing and testing techniques

  • Draft compliance reports

  • Issue results emails to cardholders

  • Update and develop trainings to enhance cardholder knowledge

  • Respond to data calls from the client, other government agencies

  • Complete ad-hoc requests

Qualifications

  • Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 1

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

  • Knowledge of Government purchase cards and acquisitions

  • Federal acquisition regulation (FAR) knowledge

  • Experience conducting financial management audits/reviews, or data analytics or automation knowledge
