Parsons Corporation Facilities Assessor – Team Lead in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

PROJECT:

Parsons is managing a Technical Services (TS) program for an agency within the Department of Defense to review third party A/E work; conduct studies, analysis, testing and measuring; perform specialized engineering services, planning and design reviews; commissioning services; and construction oversight on worldwide delivery orders.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Parsons is seeking a Team Lead to perform the following:

  • Manage the Facilities Assessment team

  • Interface daily with clients POC

  • Provide assessment and data analysis support

  • Plan and coordinate all survey work for the team

  • Perform all Quality Assurance\Quality Control on collected and entered survey data

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related technical/business field (or equivalent experience)

  • 12+ years of related work experience.

  • Applicants selected for employment will be subject to a federal background investigation and must meet additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials.

  • Must be US Citizen

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.

  • Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, have excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required.

  • Must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.

  • Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to walk for long periods (6 to 8 hours/day) and climb ladders

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Top Secret SCI Poly clearance.
