We are looking for a leader, someone that has run their own consulting business or has the capability to do so. Ifyou knowhow to lead a team of engineers, inspire loyalty, consult with clients, and oversee large programs, this is the right opportunity for you! At Parsons, you work like a consultant, but with the support and resources of a big company! Our clients need a strong Electrical Engineering generalist, with a PE license that can provide electrical consulting services for all project phases, including pre-design, design, construction, equipment commissioning oversight, peer review, and due diligence building systems evaluations. You will be leading other engineers, who are matrixed to projects/clients, managing client relationships but may be expected to execute engineering work in order to get the job done.

Our clients include long standing relationships with Federal, and State government organizations. Your programs might include work on facilities assessments, equipment renovations, design/build facilities upgrades, renovations facilities, evaluations of electrical components and systems, energy optimization, power related projects, and code compliance assessments.

  • 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)

  • 15+ years of related work experiencein electrical engineering design, assessments, facilities upgrades.

  • Broad Electrical Generalist

  • Professional Engineer Licenseis required

  • Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity, leading and coaching other engineers.

  • Strong organizational agility, problem solver, strategic thinker

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required
