he Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all persons in or near the swimming pool and locker rooms nforcing pool rules, and responding appropriately to emergencies.

part of the Anaheim Red Shield team, all employees share the following expectations and assigned duties:

alues - work with other staff, volunteers and members to instill positive attitudes, life skills development, Christia alues and service to others.

afety - ensure the safe participation of all members, guests and fellow staff in center activities and programs dhering to center safety policies and procedures.

aintenance - assist in the proper care and maintenance of the facility and equipment following designate aintenance procedures assigned by supervisors.

ecurity - work with center staff and directors to monitor and maintain the security of our facility.

pecial Events - assist center staff as required in the planning, development and implementation of special even nd programs throughout the year.

ployees may also be requested to perform other reasonable business related duties by their

·mmediate supervisor or center management.

  • Responsiblefor marketing and scheduling swimmers.

  • Teaching swim lessons/exercise classes as assigned.

  • Provide direct pool supervision.

  • Enforce pool ntles, policies and reg11lations.

  • Assist as req11ired with pool maintenance.

  • Monitor pool areas, incl11ding office, deck and locker rooms.

  • Respond appropriately to emergencies.

  • Record pool statistics and reports.

  • Participate in stafftraining and development programs.

  • Keep all certifications current.

  • Follow center policies andprocedures
