Unstructured Data Solutions (UDS) is a division within Dell Technologies where we build solutions to help our customers' business and clear the dark clouds caused by challenges in storing and utilizing unstructured data. We help our customers who face the challenges of constantly growing masses of data, as well as with how to harness the power of data utilization for business by using Big Data and analytics architectures. UDS is one of the fastest growing and most successful business units within Dell: it is growing 3 times faster than Scale out NAS market and has been leading the technology market for the last few years.

Currently we are seeking an experienced Account Executive/Regional Territory Manager to strengthen the team. Based in Amsterdam, the key responsibility is to maintain and grow the UDS business in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • Drive account strategies and co-ordinate team-selling efforts to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Under limited direction, prospect and close named accounts against established competition to meet and exceed assigned quota.

  • Establish and nurture relationships at all levels of the customer organization as appropriate and departmental through line of business.

  • Assimilate specific vertical market background, requirements, and infrastructure attributes, and apply this knowledge to sell Isilon solutions.

  • Manage multiple customers and opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasting and clear management communication.

  • Drive customer satisfaction in all assigned accounts.

  • Develop a strong technical understanding of the UDS offering.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in technology sales, managing a territory to aggressively grow revenue and customer base.

  • Proven understanding of storage/IT infrastructure business.

  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota while maintaining customer loyalty and required product margins.

  • Strong experience managing multi-tiered customer relationships. Demonstrated ability to penetrate and close new accounts and opportunities.

  • Ability to foster communication within a sales team, while promoting independent activities and parallel efforts.

  • Experience working in large companies, dealing with many departments and stakeholders and handling sensitive situations.

  • Fluent English and Dutch.
