Under Armour (UA) is seeking a Store Development & Expansion Intern to support the retail team on the roll out program of our retail stores. You will assist the Senior Manager of Store Development and Expansion, in all aspects of site selection, lease negotiation, design development and construction of our new stores, dealing with internal and external partners around the globe. This is a great opportunity to work in a Store Development role on a pan European level for an upcoming global brand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Senior Manager with daily tasks in the ongoing projects
Manage the procurement process and budget tracking for all ongoing projects
Support the SD contracting process with the legal team
Manage small renovation projects
Support Senior Manager in lease negotiations for new sites
Support Senior Manager in exercise to reduce costs
Strategic projects as assigned (depending on skill set of candidate)
CRITICAL SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
The applicant must be enrolled as student during the internship period (preferably in a Real Estate, Architecture/Construction, Business or Project Management related program)
Hands on mentality, not afraid to take the lead in a project
Creative and analytical thinking, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to bring structure to processes.
Strong computer skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
