Inside Sales Account Manager UK – (Amsterdam Based)

We're looking for someone like you to take ownership of clinical (NHS) accounts, covering the UK.
As the Inside Sales Manager, you are responsible for managing and growing the revenue through upsell and cross sell to existing accounts. By interacting with your clients daily, through phone, Skype and email, you generate demand and drive overall territory revenue growth. You are the primary strategic account owner towards clients and Elsevier stakeholders as agents.
You will become part of the Clinical Solutions Sales Team in Northern Europe, a team of enthusiastic sales professionals and you will report to the Regional Sales Manager based in the Netherlands.We are an international, dynamic and passionate team that enjoys interacting with our clients to uncover their needs. Your experience and skills:
A University degree, BS/BA or equivalent experience
2+ years of proven commercial (b2b) experience
Proven success in negotiating contracts and closing business
Proven success in new business prospecting, selling, negotiating and closing skills
Strong phone, written communication and online presentation skills
Experience working with research administration and management functions as well as knowledge in regional or national research programs, collaboration networks is desirable
Experience in enterprise customer relationship management system is desirable
A self-starter with lots of energy and enthusiasm
Fluent in English, written and oral
An excellent communicator
Not afraid to interact with your clients
Curious and engaging
Proactive with an entrepreneurial mindset
A born networker, able to partner and collaborate across teams
Well organized, hard-working and committed
