Responsible for the sale of service products in the stated geographic territory to ensure excellent customer loyalty. Drive sales to achieve service related targets as defined in the service KPI's for service order volume, revenue and profit, while complying with AB Sciex policies and procedures. Provides the company with market knowledge for the development of strategies on service products.
Competes for all existing business and develops new service sales opportunities within the territory. Maintain and develop relationship with the customer to ensure loyalty. Drive strategic development of key accounts globally and within the region. Drive strategic development of smaller regional accounts.
Participates in the monthly forecast cycle by focusing on service contract, upfront contract and qualification opportunities. Gathers, analyzes and delivers market knowledge including lost order and competitive information to develop strategies and appropriate service products. Provides VOC information to the Service Business Development Council and Marketing to design specific promotions and organise seminars and exhibitions.
Work closely together with contract administration and the commercial organisation, (sales, support & customer service) to achieve our order, revenue and profit targets. Be the trusted advisor for our customers to ensure professional relationship, and offer the customer the correct service solution to achieve customer loyalty to our company. Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as determined by the Manager.
Academic degree (BSc) or equivalent level of experience in Life Sciences or Engineering. Profound product knowledge. Very good command of English language.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Commercially astute with a drive for results. Extensive experience in a relevant (service) sales function.
Home based function. Willingness to travel within the region for multiple days at a time for Customer visits. Driving license is essential.
