He/She participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. This position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations. He/She collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. He/She provides input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects. He/She will work in the Brokerage Systems team that develops and supports applications that provide Operations the tools to clear shipments through customs, assign duties and taxes, prepare customs paperwork, and maintain importer documentation. The Senior Applications Developer will assist the development effort for Brokerage Enterprise Releases, GBSP work streams, and Infrastructure initiatives. The Senior Applications Developer will also assist with the support and maintenance of existing applications. The Senior Applications Developer should have strong technical skills in the following areas: Web Development, Java, Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Jboss, FUSE, Apache Camel, Spring, AMQ/WMQ, SQL Server, and Integration via APIs and Web Services (SOAP, REST).
