ARAS PLM Solution Architect
Currently, RG is looking to hire a PLM Solution Architect with ARAS expertise to support our Defense and Federal customers. This role will be critical in helping customers understand and achieve the value from systems modernization projects by providing solution design, architecture, demonstration, and implementation experience to opportunity and engagement teams.
A Day In the Life:
To help make our customers successful, the chosen candidate will be responsible for providing expertise and insight around PLM and Aras software and understanding, defining, and communicating customer solutions while leading a team to achieve the desired strategic and business objectives.
As PLM Solution Architect, you will be responsible for working with customers to understand and model their requirements, crafting compelling product demonstrations and associated collateral. You’ll work to create representative datasets and workflows which model the customers work practices and highlight how those can be enhanced through establishing the ‘digital thread’ and ‘digital twin’ connecting parts, products, and systems through a PLM solution tailored to their specific needs.
How You Can Make A Difference:
The Aras Solution Architect will provide solution leadership through applying their domain expertise in PLM and Aras Innovator product to defining, designing, and delivering compelling solutions for customers in the Defense and Federal markets.
Working closely with business development and implementation groups, the Aras Solution Architect will lead activities through the full opportunity and project lifecycle, from initial conversations through proposals to delivery and close-out. In addition to their personal expertise, Aras Solution Architect is responsible for working collaboratively with RG’s technology and software product teams to define technology solutions which integrate PLM with enterprise business systems and RG’s Jaguar Family of Advanced Scheduling Tools (JFAST™) software to ensure execution at the highest level of quality and professionalism.
As a senior member of RG’s solutions team, the Aras Solution Architect will be able to apply their personal expertise of working in an Agile environment while taking initiative, problem solving, and coaching and mentoring other team members in PLM and related disciplines.
A Consultant is an exempt customer-facing business professional that provides a variety of information directly to customers for their ongoing programs, new initiatives, strategic planning, and measurement/evaluation in one or more of RG's solutions. They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value team work, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills.
To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.
4+ years experience in defining and implementing solutions using an Aras PLM product
6+ years experience in implementing PLM or enterprise business systems in an Agile delivery environment
2+ years experience as an enterprise architect or solution architect
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, industrial engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline
Demonstrated ability to capture and document requirements and prepare systems diagrams, including systems, interface, and data architectures
Experience in customer-facing roles defining and presenting PLM solutions
Possess or able to achieve Secret clearance (US Citizenship required)

Experience with other PLM solutions, including PTC Windchill, Siemens TeamCenter, or Dassault Catia or Enovia
Experience as a sales, pre-sales, or support engineer working directly with customers
Proven practice in rapid prototyping for PLM or related technologies, such as computer aided design (CAD) or building information modeling (BIM)
Expertise in data modeling, manipulation, and presentation
Applied knowledge of data sciences, including machine learning and data mining
Program management and scheduling in a production environment
Understanding of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) systems and processes
Deployment of solutions into data center, Cloud, and hybrid environments
Cybersecurity and information protection and control
