Test and Evaluation Engineer

Key Role:

Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment. Plan and arrange the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provide test area with parameters for sample testing and specify tests to be performed. Comply data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Maintain responsibility for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area, use application of technical principles, theories, and concepts. Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience in defining or leading developmental test and evaluation activities

-Experience with test and evaluation software, including R

-Knowledge of experimental techniques and test optimizations for small and limited sample sizes

-Knowledge of Bayesian or Markovian based analysis techniques

-Ability to work within a professional and military-oriented environment

-Ability to be responsive to client needs in a timely manner

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Defense Acquisition University T&E Certification

-DAU Level 2 T&E Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with high power electromagnetics, high power radio frequencies, high power laser radar systems, or operational test and evaluation

-Knowledge of field live-fire test requirements and operations is preferred

-Knowledge of laboratory test operation is a plus

-Ability to draft and coordinate test and safety plans is preferred

-Ability to lead and coordinate field test operations is preferred

-BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
