Oracle Product Marketing Manager – Utility Grid and Asset Management in Albany, New York
Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.
As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Ability to work with Executives. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic. Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Basic HTML and web technology skills a plus. 8 years technology/industry experience and BA/BS/MBA degree.

- Go-to-Market Strategy:
Help drive overall go-to-market strategy, planning and execution for solutions
- Solution Messaging/Positioning:
Develop and implement high impact and differentiated solution positioning and messaging.
- Sales Tools:
Develop and deliver high-impact repeatable sales tools such as collateral, presentations, case studies, proposals demos, competitive positioning, etc.
- Sales Training:
Develop and deliver key sales training materials covering industry trends, value proposition, and competitive positioning.
- Subject Matter Expertise:
Serve as a subject matter expert on solutions in support of marketing programs, press and analyst relations.
- Competitive Intelligence:
Develop informed point of view on where competition is headed or will emerge (and why) and how to beat the competition
- Buying/Sales Cycle:
Blueprint buyer s journey and map buyer decisions / information needs at each stage
Develop and deliver campaigns to generate leads and grow revenue
- Business Cases:
Create business cases and strategies for product capabilities required to meet solution needs. Gather and analyze data and prioritize market trends and direction.
You re high-horsepower, hyper-analytical and creative in your thinking; you have an ability to distill complex ideas in succinct and compelling ways, and communicate them verbally or through strong written communication
You are a skilled presenter with experience presenting to senior executives

You have experience or exposure to the utility, energy or clean tech sectors, and you are passionate about the future of energy efficiency and the utility industry
You have 3 years of relevant experience, and a bachelor's degree
