CACI International Test Engineer in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

Job Description

CACI is seeking a Test Engineer to support our client, Project Manager Mission Command (PM MC), at the Aberdeen Proving Ground.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Work side-by-side with our customer and other CACI professionals in support of the PM MC suite of systems through their entire support life cycle.

  • Create test cases based on system requirements, the configuration and maintenance of PM MC test facilities, execution of tests, analysis and recreation of problems reported from system users, and the test and validation of system changes.

  • Perform hardware and software assembly, setup, configuration, and network connectivity support for MC systems (CPCE, MCE, GCCS-A, DDS, C2R/C2I, Enterprise Services, Chat, CPOF, EMS/OHS/Projects/3D/MVR/Fires).

  • Provide engineering support to configure, modify, and operate MC systems to include software installation, network configuration, and system administration.

  • Provide engineering support to maintain test lab equipment.

  • Provide technical support and knowledge for trouble-shooting and research of Test Incident Reports (TIRs) discussed at the Data Authentication Group (DAG) and resolved and adjudicated at the Executive Scoring Committee (ESC).

  • Support the execution of System Integration Facility (SIF) integration events and excursions.

  • Execute day to day system support for testing as required.

  • Assist with evaluation of IA/Cyber fixes, architecture changes, technical bulletin (TB) verifications.

  • Perform test analysis on complex project requirements.

  • Responsibile for resolving complex issues identified in testing.

  • Provide documentation of any technical support actions taken on test floor while testing is underway (observation reports).

  • Support new software checkouts of supported systems.

  • Report issues to test lead and product office for visibility.

  • Develop and implement test plans, procedures and documentation to support various stages of testing for all initial and updated increments/releases and components of systems.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.

  • 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification i.e. Security +.

  • BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering, BS in Computer Science, BS in Information Technology, or BS Systems Engineering. An Associates Degree and 4 years experience or No Degree and 6 years experience may be substituted.

  • Ability to translate system requirements into test cases.

  • Ability to analyze level 1-3 data.

  • Ability to develop data reduction methodology techniques.

  • Ability to develop automated tools to analyze and review data.

  • Knowledge and understanding of structured analysis and design as it relates to the test design.

  • Knowledge on data reduction methodology techniques.

  • Knowledge on automated tools to analyze and review data.

  • Knowledge of US Army Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) Joint Tool Suite used to monitor and test systems.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of PM MC system portfolio.

  • Ability to design test architecture, create test plans and execute test.
